Ruby/Ida/Mimi Cab Kits: These laser cut wooden cab kits are designed to be replacement cabs for Accucraft's Ruby, Ida & Mimi live steam engines. We have designed them so that they will fit on any of model of Ruby, Ida & Mimi produced. Although simple in design and easy to build, they will greatly enhance the look of the engine. Porter Style Cab. This cab is based on Porter style cabs that were common around the turn of the century. Although not modeled after any particular engine, it will give any of the Ruby class engines a distinctive Porter look. This kit is constructed from laser cut, aircraft grade plywood. And features sliding rear windows and a removable roof. The entire cab is designed to be installed onto the engine with little or no modifications to the engine itself.
