Ruby/Ida/Mimi Cab Kits: These laser cut wooden cab kits are designed to be replacement cabs for Accucraft's Ruby, Ida & Mimi live steam engines. We have designed them so that they will fit on any of model of Ruby, Ida & Mimi produced. Although simple in design and easy to build, they will greatly enhance the look of the engine. Baldwin 1890's Style Cab. This cab is based Baldwin style cabs that were built in the late 1800's. Although not modeled after any particular engine, it will give your Ruby class engine that distinctive "peaked roofed" Baldwin look. This kit is constructed from laser cut, aircraft grade plywood. As with all of the Ruby cabs, sliding rear windows and a removable roof, are standard. The entire cab is designed to be installed onto the engine with little or no modifications to the engine itself.
