Porter Class Kit

NOTE:
If you're willing to cut the parts yourself from the PDFs that are provided in the Master Class, you don't need any of these kits to build the Master Class models.
However this kit will save you a lot of time.

Long Pilot Short Pilot parts

Kit #1 - Wooden Porter Pilot. There are two pilots, basically a long one (some call it the "Tall Version") and a shorter one. This is because there are two deck heights to the Porter locos. Most of them use the longer pilot. The shorter one is used only on one Porter version, CCRR #4, which is the one with the Rogers dome. For some reason, at least for a time, she had this low pilot deck, and short pilot. The taller pilot is essential for the 2-6-0 versions, as the deck is leveled above the pilot wheel, quite high up. Both versions are laser cut from aircraft grade plywood with interlocking tabs to ease construction. Honestly, it takes us longer to cut them out then it will take you to build them. Both kits come with a white metal link & pin coupler. Dim's.
