Bronson-Tate, in conjunction with FH&PB, is pleased to announce, that we are now offering a wooden cab for David Fletcher's Master Class 2002 Mason Bogie project locomotive. There were two styles of cabs on the Mason Bogie that David has chosen to model. The 1870s cab kit represents the original cabs supplied by the Mason Locomotive Works, with a peaked roof, arched window frames and ornate decorative molding. The 1880s cab is based off of later type with a rounded roof and squared-off windows.
Each kit is laser cut from birch plywood, and include window "glazing" . Cast post and brass rod for the handrail stanchions are also included . These kits are designed to be completed in a couple of evenings. No special tools are needed.
