AMS Truck Roller Bearing Retro-Fit kit: Looking for a way to dramatically improve the way your AMS cars behave on your track? Our Retro-Fit kit is just the solution for you. You will find that after the conversion is made, your AMS rolling stock will not only roll more freely, but there will also be a noticeable improvement in tracking. We accomplish this in two ways. 1) By using Sierra Valley wheels sets, which due to their superior design, track better than any other wheels on the market. 2) Replacing the stock bronze bushings with 5 ball, steel shielded ball bearings. This kit is designed so that only basic tools are needed to preform the needed steps. Supplied are custom Sierra Valley wheel sets, special flanged ball-bearings and detailed instructions. Both the wheel sets and bearings were designed and selected to assure that no machining will be needed by the installer. Each kit will do one complete car (2 Trucks). The conversion can easily be done in 1/2 an hour, per car.
