AMS Passenger Truck Roller Bearing Retro-Fit kit: A Roller bearing Retro-Fit kit is now available for your AMS passenger cars. As with our previously introduced Retro-Fit kits, after modifying your trucks with this kit, your AMS Passenger cars will not only roll more freely, but there will also be a noticeable improvement in tracking. This kit differs for the previous ones in that in addition to the Sierra Vally wheels, it also contains new axle journals and journal lids This kit is designed so that only basic tools are needed to preform the needed steps. Supplied are custom Sierra Valley wheel sets, new cast journals (Lead Free) w/ bearings preinstalled, new cast journal lids (Lead Free) and detailed instructions. There is no machining required by the installer. Each kit will do one complete car (2 Trucks). The conversion can easily be done in 1/2 an hour, per car. Please note This kit is only for AMS's passenger cars. The ones with the plastic bodies. This kit will not work on Accucraft's brass passenger cars.
